Back at my condo in Maine for my last extended vacation. I will be here for 4 weeks. I'll be working on the orientation manual for the new men coming into the seminary, my summer assignment evaluation, a fall presentation on Catholic teaching of Social Justice, and several condo related projects. I hope to get in some casual reading and some serious relaxation time as well.
I do have a couple nights planned away from the condo as a vacation just for me.
I've called most of the disperse family to schedule lunches and dinners. Now to unpack and sleep...

Can you believe the assignment is almost over?
I was looking at my blog this morning, thinking, will I ever
post again? I know I will, but the quandary is always what to
post. I suspected that SOMEBODY would be prodding me eventually. (and he did)
I am in my last week here at Abington/Whitman. I am making plans for the rest of the summer and starting to pack. It is complicated since most is going to the seminary, but some is going to Maine. I I need to keep them separate. I have a short honey-do list for Maine, will get a visit from my South Carolina niece and her husband, have a 2 night vacation planned in Boothbay Harbor.
I'll be back at the seminary on August 22nd, as I am co-leading the orientation team this year.
In early September, I'll be back here in Abington/Whitman every weekend for my pastoral assignment
